Welcome to Fall Semester 2012! It has been wonderful to hear from so many of you who are eagerly anticipating a new year of dance. We are all very excited and looking forward to a fun and productive experience. Classes begin on Monday September 10. Fall semester will end on January 11th and registration for the Spring semester is January 7-11. (Classes continue during registration. Please include costume fee to Spring Semester tuition.) Full tuition payment is due upon enrollment. Please make check payable to “Maggie Brown” (not Maggie Brown School of Dance). Students are expected to wear leotard and tights, color of their choice. Proper shoes are required for each class; pink ballet slippers for Ballet, black dance sneakers for Hip Hop, foot undies or dance paws for Jazz and Modern, black tap shoes for Tap and tan character shoes 11/2” heels for Theater Jazz. Hair must be pulled securely away from the face, preferably in a bun. Please check with your child for notices and updates as they will be sent home with them – not mailed. If your child was absent, check with me if notes where distributed in their absence. Please check our website www.maggiebrownschoolofdance.com regularly for new events and updated information IMPORTANT PARKING POLICY: We are thankful to have had our dance studio in this residential area for 26 successful years. We would like to maintain our good rapport with our neighbors and request that you respect our pick-up and drop-off procedures. Please enter the gravel driveway from Grants Lane and pull all the way up to the top of the paved driveway to wait. Give way to traffic on Illington Rd. before exiting. If you need to come in, please use the three designated parking spots facing the garage doors and allow cars to pass behind you. If those spots are taken, you can park next to the stone wall in back of my mailbox on the gravel away from the road. Do not park on the opposite side of the street, and use my driveway only to turn around – not the neighbor's. Please pass this information on to babysitters, spouses, grandparents or other drivers who pick up your dancer. , By popular demand, weekly ADULT classes are forming Thursday 9:00am – Yoga Friday 5:15 – Beginner Tap Friday 6:15 – Beginner Ballet |
